If a horse's leg does get caught inside the "Feeder", the weight of his leg will cause the "Feeder" to literally come apart at the seams and release the horse's leg with no damage to the horse. The fact that the "Feeder" comes apart creates a bonus feature when it comes to cleaning. When the seams are apart, the "Feeder" hangs against the walls of the trailer making it very easy to hose or brush off any dirt or debris. No more unhooking the feeder and dumping and wiping it out. After cleaning, simply reattach the hook and loop strips and the feeder will be ready to use again.
